The Cornerstone is in two parts this week. Part one, right here, is to let you know that we are beginning a new and different Alpha series, starting on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 7:00 PM. Click on the registration link here. 

In the past few years, many of you have participated in the Alpha course offered at Holy Cross Parish. The wonderful weekly meal, informative video, and the table discussions have proven to be a wonderful way to be introduced to Jesus, to reconnect with Him, and to learn more about the faith along with other great people. 

With the pandemic, the Alpha program is being taken online via Zoom. Remember, we need to all get used to different! While you will have to eat your meal on your own for these sessions, the same Alpha video content will be presented on Zoom, with breakout “table” discussions taking place on Zoom. If you already use Zoom a lot (if not too much!) this is a great way to “redeem” it by using it to know more about the Lord Jesus. For others, this will be a unique opportunity in which to connect with people in a new way online!

Alpha is an amazing series about Jesus. If you haven’t attended before, this is your chance to check it out and perhaps jump-start your faith in a new way. It’s also an easy way to invite others to join you in a format that some might find even more accessible than the normal format.
